Introduction
Distance learning, also called e-learning, is a form of education which addresses a wide public and affects various domains. It does not take place in a school building and is done without the physical presence of a teacher. A number of bodies offer distance learning programmes. The conditions for enrolment and the cost vary according to the institution.
