How to draw up the teaching aims ?
To draw up your teaching aims, put yourself in the learner's position, like, for example, in a geometry lesson: “Knowing Thales's theorem” and not “"Introducing ''Thales's theorem ”
When setting out your teaching aims, choose action words based on the skills to be attained (Bloom's Taxonomy will help you select them) for example: "By the end of the module the learners will be capable of calculating the length of a segment by using Thales's theorem rather than just knowing Thales's theorem"
The teaching aims present the skills or knowledge levels aimed at. "Resolve this kind of problem using Thales's theorem in (give the conditions)."
So, a teaching aim is expressed like this: "By the end of the module the learner will know [the principle] and will be able to [carry out such or such an exercise]. “
